Camp Ho Non Wah Winter Camp

What Is It?

At Winter Camp at Camp Ho Non Wah, you will enjoy outdoor camp living in the comfortable winter season and earn merit badges not normally offered during summer camp; particularly those required for Eagle. While in camp you will enjoy living with your troop in certain campsites based on safety and comfort. Provisional Scouts are encouraged to attend!

Merit Badge Schedule

Each Scout must pre-select four Merit Badges, one from each period scheduled, and two alternates from any period. It is important that this list be sent to the Scout Office as part of the Scout's registration by November 27th for advance registration or as soon as possible after that date. November 1 online registration will open for all Troops and campers not coming with a Troop.

Registration

Before registering your account, please read the following:

  • The Online Registration System for 2010 is different than the system for previous years. Unit leaders can create their own accounts and do NOT have to receive login information from the Webmaster. All accounts from previous years are invalid. If you registered with us last year, you will have to create a new account!
  • Registering your Unit/Provisional Scout online DOES NOT register your Unit/Provisional Scout for Winter Camp at Camp Ho Non Wah. You MUST submit a seperate form and payment to the Coastal Carolina Council Scout Office in order to register for Winter Camp.
  • The Online Registration System allows Unit Leaders to register their unit (Troop or Pack) for Merit Badges. The System is also designed to allow Parents to register their Boy Scout to attend Camp Ho Non Wah as a Provisional Scout.
  • You MUST have your completed Campsite Reservation Form and campsite deposit submitted to the Coastal Carolina Council Scout Office by March 15th. Accounts are subject to termination after December 1st if no deposit has been received.
  • ALL Merit Badge Requests MUST be completed by December 1, 2009.
  • Please read the Camp Ho Non Wah Online Privacy Policy.
  • After completing the Registration Form, you will receive an Email from wintercamp@camphnw.com asking you to confirm you email address. You MUST click on the link in this email before you will be able to access the Online Registration System. Please be sure to add this email address to your spam filter's safelist! Also, please allow up to 24 hours to receive this email before contacting the Webmaster.

To Create An Account for your unit, simply visit the Create an Account page and complete the form.

If you are registering a Provisional Scout, there are a few important things you need to know.

  • When completing the Registration Form, you will see the following question: "Are you registering a Provisional." Be sure to answer YES to this question!
  • Also, please provide the Parent's Contact Information and NOT the Scout's personal information!
