Camp Ho Non Wah Alumni
What Is It?
Encouraging Scout camping in Coastal Carolina through promotion of camping operations and support of our camp's property, programs, and staff.
In the summer of 1931, the Coastal Carolina Council, Boy Scouts of America opened a small summer camp on the banks of the Bohicket River, later given the name Ho Non Wah, meaning Land of the Rising and Falling Waters. Over the past seventy-five years, Ho Non Wah has grown to be one of the most recognized Boy Scouts of America camps in the southeast.
The campers and members of the staff from the past have come together to celebrate our camp's success and ensure its future by organizing the Camp Ho Non Wah Alumni Association, encouraging Scout camping in Coastal Carolina through promotion of camping operations and support of our camp's property, programs, and staff.
